Terms
Last updated 2 August 2026.
Memoriser is a spaced-repetition study app operated by Northline Catalyst, a Wyoming company. Using it means you accept these terms. If you don’t, don’t use it.
Your account
You must be at least 13 years old to have an account. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission. One person per account; keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has it.
You’re responsible for what happens under your account. We can suspend or close an account that abuses the service, breaks these terms, or puts other users or our infrastructure at risk.
Your content stays yours
Decks, cards, notes, uploads, review history — yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store your content, process it to generate and improve cards, and show it back to you and to anyone you deliberately share a deck with. Nothing more. We don’t sell it, publish it, or use it to train AI models.
Only upload things you have the right to upload. If you share a deck, you’re confirming you’re allowed to share it.
Our decks
Decks published in the community catalog are ours to offer, and some are built on openly licensed sources — those carry their attribution and licence in the deck description, and that licence travels with the material. Adding a catalog deck to your library gives you a copy to study, not the right to resell it.
AI features and credits
Generation, explanations, and card rescue run on AI models and cost credits. Every plan has a credit allowance over rolling daily, weekly and monthly windows; when one is spent, that feature pauses until the window moves. Allowances and costs are shown in the app.
AI output can be wrong. Generated cards are a starting point, not a fact-checked source — read them before you memorise them. Memoriser is a study tool and nothing in it is professional, medical, legal, or financial advice.
Paying for Pro
Pro is a subscription that buys a larger credit allowance. You can pay weekly ($4.99), monthly ($12.99), or yearly ($99.00), in US dollars. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card details.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, at the price above, until you cancel. Cancel any time from “Manage billing” in your account menu — it takes effect at the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and you keep Pro until then. We’ll email you before a price change, and you can cancel instead of accepting it.
Because credits are consumed as you use them, payments are generally non-refundable. If something goes genuinely wrong — you were charged twice, or a failure on our side cost you the period you paid for — email us and we’ll sort it out. This doesn’t affect refund rights you have under the law where you live.
What we don’t promise
We work hard to keep Memoriser running and your data intact, but the service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. We don’t promise it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, and we don’t promise any particular learning result.
Export your data if it matters to you — the account menu has a one-click archive, and we’d rather you hold a copy than trust us with the only one.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some places don’t allow these limits, in which case they don’t apply to you.
Ending things
You can delete your account whenever you like, from the account menu — it’s immediate and permanent. We can end or suspend your access if you break these terms; if we do that without cause, we’ll refund the unused part of any period you’ve paid for.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters — pricing, your rights, how we handle your content — we’ll tell you before it takes effect, and continuing to use Memoriser after that means you accept it. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, and any dispute belongs in its courts.
